Sunday Update

Lawyers, lawyers, lawyers… blah blah blah. I get it. I can’t have my site up right now, and I shouldn’t be on social media either, but I can’t just sit here in the dark while stuff is going on.  So I’m just not going to comment on any of that stuff.  But it might be a nice excuse to just talk about my week and what happened and where I went and whatever. Maybe it will become a regular thing! Every Sunday I could carve out some time to just write out how my week went. I can’t promise it will be interesting. Let’s find out:

Last weekend, I got to see a preview performance of the new Spring Awakening revival that was simply perfection.  If you’ll be in NYC between now and January, I can’t recommend strongly enough that you see this show. The performances are top notch, but the creative team and the direction are just beyond. In someone else’s hands, a half hearing/half deaf, half singing/half signing production of this show could have been the most embarrassing thing to be witnessed in a Broadway house. But these guys fuckin kill it. Go see it. Seriously. Amazing.

Mostly a quiet week otherwise.  I’ve had some work interviews and meetings and some more to come next week. Not sure what I want to do with myself yet, but I’m excited to learn there are options and that people liked/respected what I’ve done in the past.

image1Started reading a new book. You’ll all be unsurprised to learn that it is about penises. An excellent gift from a new friend (who already knows what I like). I shall report back with my findings.

I’m very caught up on tv lately too.  The Good Wife, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, 30 Rock, Archer, and Kath & Kim have been on a loop on my tv lately. Not especially enriching viewing, but enjoyable, regardless. Season premier of TGW can’t come soon enough, frankly.

Highlight of the week though was easily last night, where I got to spend some quality time with people I really like. First was a friend I hadn’t seen in a few months for dinner times and polite-sounding (they kept sitting other people nearby and it was hard to talk about sex things discreetly but I can’t not talk about dicks with this man) conversation. And then later him tormenting me by describing and sending me photos of his ridiculously sexy underwears. :/ And then BBQ and Cards Against Humanity in Brooklyn with other friends I haven’t seen in a while. Expensive car ride back home, and much too late returning, but very worth it.

I can’t say thank you enough to those who have reached out in support these last few weeks. It means everything to me, and I am grateful to know you all.  Obviously (or maybe not – Idk) I’m not in Chicago this weekend, and that’s unfortunate, because I was excited to see that city again as an adult. ‘Once when I was 11’ doesn’t seem like enough to really enjoy it properly. I’ll have to put something on the books once things settle down more.  I will (it’s already booked, so it’s happening) be in DC over Halloween.  October 29-November 2. If we’ve met before, I would very much like to see you then, DC friends! More about that as we get closer to it.

Today is a quiet day of doing some spec work to prep for meetings, cooking, napping, and cleaning my house a bit. Should be very calming.

You’re both so sweet. I’m doing great, despite everything. Thank you for worrying!

This blog has a TON of super adulty stuff in it. You gotta be 18+ and into that (or at least be working on an incognito tab, bro).
Yeah, I'm 18
No, I'm under 18
