The unifying spirit of shared male masturbation.
I was jacking off on tumblr today, with a fellow tumblr user I’d been following for quite some time. We got to chatting there and it turned into a mutual championing of the sharing of the bate that resulted in me nutting on the floor for the second time in as many hours.
It was refreshing to talk to somebody who felt similarly about jacking off, because so often the idea one encounters is that masturbation is a substitute for actual sex. It’s a thing you do when you can’t fuck to unload your nuts. But that’s really a different (and occasionally depressing) sort of thing. Especially to watch. I can tell almost immediately if somebody is stroking Penis because they love how it feels and understand what they’re doing. They get that it’s important and excellent to share that and that it’s inspiring tons of dudes all over to do the same.
Watching a dry auto-handjob that goes on for 35 seconds so some guy can jizz, immediately clean up, and be done with it, sucks.

Spend some time today thinking about what kind of masturbator you are; a Penis-focused strokemonster who grunts and smiles and drools the whole time (cause he’s not worried about what he looks like – just how that Penis feels), or a hit and run dry handjob to ‘get to the point‘ because you’re not having sex jacker.
Is masturbation a substitute for sex? Does it have to be?

Thanks for the links to the Tumblr blogs of these beautiful masturbators. I follow a lot of masturbation blogs on Tumblr, but these are all new to me — giving me more fuel for my own bate.
I can’t resist noting that in my opinion masturbation is the ultimate, preferred form of sex. It doesn’t replace intimacy between humans, but sex should not get in the way of intimacy.
And Tumblr is taking down so many masturbation videos I’m glad they left a few.
I know there’s some stuff going on with videos, but I haven’t seen any official announcement about it. Are they admitting to doing this?
If you attempt to post a video of an explicitly sexual act, there’s a better than 50% chance that they will send you a nasty email, and instead of your video there will be a gray space.
You shouldn’t resist noting that! It’s awesome, and I agree with you. <3
First: “Is masturbation a substitute for sex? Does it have to be?”
Masturbation *is* sex. Sex is a big tent, chock-full of a vast range of experiences and masturbation is inside that tent. It is, in fact, the most predominant sex act of our species. The idea that intercourse alone constitutes sex is a very bad idea that has wrecked a lot of sex for a lot of people.
Second: Yes, Tumblr has begun to slowly kill video hosting of all kinds, and it has focused on explicit content videos in particular. It’s far clunkier, but Tumblr bloggers can embed links to other hosting sites, albeit with varying degrees of effectiveness and success.
I suspect this trend will become a lot worse when Verizon start ruining it. I’ve begun the process of backing up my content to move to WordPress.
Said content will continue to be found at jackdaddy.me.
First: Agree. Although I also could defend it existing outside of capital S, SEX. As something that can happen without the emotions or gravity of SEX. If I masturbate with a guy on the bus on the way home and we don’t kiss or touch, I didn’t have sex with a guy on the bus. It was more of a poorly-defined other thing that involved sexual elements.
Second: That’s a huge shame. I was just talking the other day (and will have a post about it eventually) about how magical it was that we live in a time when men can share themselves in the most intimate and personal ways with the entirety of the world – and feel welcomed and appreciated for doing so – on that platform. That’s a special thing that doesn’t happen so easily in ‘real life’ society.
The buildup of new platforms and communities takes so much time and energy. The idea of the “next” tumblr seems exhausting.
And certainly I agree about hoarding your own content and running your own wordpress install. That’s why this is here, and not at blogger anymore. I don’t want someone else holding the reins over what I can do.
Just be aware that you need to host your OWN wordpress installation, and not use the wordpress.com community. There are ToS against adult content that they could choose to enforce there.
