Kumagorow’s one-shot about a hapless businessman with a mysteriously overpowering penis is a horny winner.
I haven’t posted a lot of manga on this blog, simply because I feel very uninformed about it. There is a culture around creating and consuming manga that has its own vocabulary, established trends, and understood practices. While I enjoy translated works from time to time, I tend to stick closer to American comic book style works, particularly those issued with and around Handjobs Magazine in the 90s and 2000s.
But sometimes you come across something so horny, you have to put your anxieties about looking like a NOOB aside, and share it with anybody who will look. And I’ve found just the hentai manga to share with you!
The Suffering of Married Businessman Tadano is a one-shot written and illustrated by Kumagorow (occasionally Kuma goro—I’m assuming the “w” might be a phonetic translation addition), a prolific artist from Japan. His work is both familiar looking, while defying good explanation or categorization. The rendering quality and choices of panel framing show even a novice consumer he’s a pro. There’s narrative elements built into the viewer’s framing of the characters, and small details which tell more about each man and what they are experiencing.
Mr. Tadano is shown to be quite a large man, and this is emphasized repeatedly by the angles at which the viewer is situated, and by the fact that the doctor remains seated throughout the story. While the doctor’s language remains professional and above-board, we can see from the first frames that he is overcome by Tadano’s massive size and enraptured by the enormous dong he’s swinging around.
Kumagorow’s ability to emphasize the horniest parts, despite the acquiescence to the traditional blurring or black-barring of genitals and sex parts, is truly magnificent. We can clearly see the size and shape of Tadano’s huge penis, and, left unobscured, his equally large and hairy scrotum and smooth muscular glutes. His is a body meant to be consumed, and the reader is placed at wang-level alongside the doctor for the duration of the story.
The way the characters are so skillfully rendered, you can nearly smell the penis musk along with Dr. Senzaki; you can almost feel the supple plum-sized glans as he begins to stretch his mouth around it; and you can sense his desperation to push that thing as far into his body as he can. We’ve all been there 😅
Tadano and Senzaki aren’t men who have sex with men, either. That isn’t hounded home, only alluded to in the thoughts of each man during the story. But it doesn’t stop either of them from doing what comes naturally in such a spontaneously horny situation. In fact, they don’t even address it! Only enjoy their sudden connection and explosive conclusion. It’s quite brilliant that Tadano should only say “thank you very much!” at the end, while smiling and dripping in his own seed, rather than expressing shame or remorse for allowing it to happen.
As there was no available English language translation of this particular story, I have taken the extreme liberty to produce one, using a couple of different translator apps. For most panels, I ran them through the translators, and then did my best to combine the fractured English output into common language that made sense in the story’s context. It’s far from perfect, and I’d be glad for any assistance or correction in the comments below.
I also included the original Japanese language panels because the placement and styling of the speech bubbles is also doing narrative work (plus they’re just lovingly rendered and placed in a way my translated blocks are not). My translation maintains the right-to-left placement of the original text. Tadano’s speech is in dark blue, Senzaki’s in dark red. Thoughts or internal dialogue occurs in brackets.

Two things.
In panel 6, am I the only one who finds the disembodied hand a bit weird? I can see how it may be a challenge to draw an arm from the point of view of the person whose arm it is – but since the artist’s skill is evident elsewhere, I’m surprised he didn’t attempt this.
In panel 8, I’m assuming that ‘peel’ is the imagined faint noise of a presumably sticky foreskin rolling back over the rising glans. Inspired.
The disembodied hand is a graphic trope from manga and games, especially first player online games where you control the hand and use it to stimulate or attack a NPC or narrative character. This is what I mean when I mention Kumagorow is doing expert-level stuff with framing and perspective as nonlinguistic storytelling elements. He’s showing you how the doctor is envisioning his role, using a known visual trope. You’ve probably seen things like “Gay Harem” or other animated online games, and this is how those look. It’s an established thing, but I get why it seems odd.
And yeah, the *peel* is probably more tactile and visceral in Japanese, but that was the closest we got in English. Doesn’t really evoke a sound, but there’s still an emotive quality to the skin kind of slucking over the moist glans that it captures. Many of the non-dialogue written elements can’t be machine translated because they’re too loosely rendered, so I either left them out or left them in Japanese.

Re the foreskin noise: I’m circumcised. I remember the first time I played with a guy’s foreskin and was fascinated by how the glans popped out – I felt the need for a similar onomatopoeic soundtrack and vocalised something. The poor Dutch guy who’d been playing with foreskins his entire adult life must have wondered what I was on about.
