Handjobs Magazine
Handjobs was a monthly adult magazine featuring the works of many talented artists accompanying erotic stories. These stories primarily featured older guy/younger guy and daddy/boy pairings, and were often serialized across multiple issues of the publication. Despite its overt and unsubtle depictions of fantasy incest and art, the publication largely escaped large-scale criticism or censorship. Artists like Bruno, Julius, and Josman got their starts in early issues of Handjobs.
Handjobs began as a photocopied ‘zine in San Francisco, distributed in small batches to local retailers and eventually to an ever-growing mailing list. As a magazine, Handjobs was extremely formative in my sexual education and. the closure of the print publication in 2014 was personally devastating. The loving creators of Handjobs have kept it alive since then as a weekly email newsletter, showcasing new art and a handful of new stories delivered every Saturday. Find out more about how to subscribe in this post.
The fanbase for this magazine was broad-reaching in a way that no other adult publication has been since. You can ask almost anyone and, even if they don’t know the Handjobs publication itself, they are familiar with the artists and works featured there. My blog is an archive of sorts for the information I’ve been able to collect about the artists whose creations were published in Handjobs, and a forum in which to dissect the significance of their work for folks who love it.

Homoflexible
Itself an antonym for the idea of heteroflexibility (which includes things like gay for pay and …but not when he’s drunk), homoflexibility is the idea of the non-gold-star homosexual. Someone who identifies as primarily gay or homosexual, but who has had previous experience with (and possibly present interest in) hetero-focused sexual stimulation. This can run the gamut from porn preferences and masturbatory habits, to real life partnered experiences.
Homoflexible is a great word to fill in the gap between “I’m gay,” and “I’m bi.” I’ve personally had lots of hetero-area experiences, but would never consider myself to be evenly divided – I’m probably homosexual. But I’ve got a little flexibility.
Homoflexibility is a frequent topic of the many Handjobs Bi Adventures issues, though we don’t cover those here with the same frequency as the main Handjobs canon.
On badwolf.blog the homoflexible category is primarily used to designate straight content or advice that works equally well for everyone, regardless of their partner’s gender or presence (for example the reviews from Cockring Buddha are written by and aimed at straight guys who may be curious. But they apply to anybody looking to learn about cockrings or who enjoys looking at a very cool and confident penis).
